Palmetto Mattress has created one of the most innovative and eco-efficient return policies in the industry today. Our ability to partner with manufacturers and shipping providers allows us to ship all items in our store to you absolutely FREE!

Palmetto Mattress has virtually eliminated any risk to you!
We offer a 90 Day In-Home Trial on all mattresses. During this time we offer 2 Guarantees.

1. Days 1-89 after the purchase of your new mattress, you may elect to simply return the mattress and receive a 100% no questions ask refund. You will pay all associated costs returning the mattress to us. There is NO re-stocking fee or other hidden charges. The mattress must be returned in a clean condition (your returned mattresses are donated to good will or the salvation army). If you choose we will facilitate the return shipping of your mattress including packaging. We do not require it to be packaged in the original box/bag as other companies do.
There is no fine print; this is as simple and as fair as we can possibly make it.

Most people don't know that even returning a locally bought mattress will have restocking fees and pick-up charges that can add up to more than what it would cost to ship one across the country!

2. If for any reasons days 1-89 you are not satisfied you can request a "Mattress Swap". We will compile your feedback from your 1st mattress to recommend a 2nd mattress to swap out. Any difference in the price of the recommended swap will be charged or credited to your account depending upon the difference in price plus a $50 "Swap" fee which allows us to route your return mattress to the appropriate charity.

What states does our FREE shipping apply to?

48 U.S. states located on the North American continent south of the border, plus the District of Columbia. What items may be returned?
Any item in our store can be returned within 90 days of receipt for a refund with exception to sheets and linens. You are responsible for return shipping costs. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-877-268-967 to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) for ANY returns.

What if I don't want to pay return shipping costs?
Your item may be eligible for Fast Forward Shipping. As long as your product is not damaged or broken this program will allow you to ship your return item directly to another customer that has ordered it. If you qualify for this program

How quickly with money be credited back to my credit card?

Within 48 hours we will process the refund. Depending on your bank account it can take up to 5 business days for your funds to be available.

What if I change my mind and want to cancel my order?
Most orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours. If you contact us before your item has been shipped we will be glad to cancel it at no cost. If your item has already been shipped you may refuse delivery but you will be responsible for all shipping costs.

How do I Track my Order?
All orders are assigned a tracking number. To obtain you're tracking number login to your account here

How do I return a product when it is ready for return shipping?
  1. Call Customer Service (1-877-268-9657) to request an RMA.
  2. Place the mattress into a plastic mattress bag and secure it with packing tape.
  3. Place the mattress in a cardboard mattress box (these can be purchased at U-Haul or online) and securely tape the box.
  4. Write your return address and order number on the mattress box.
  5. Call our toll free number (1-877-268-9657) and we will arrange the pickup of your mattress.
What happens if a product is damaged during shipping?
This is very rare. All of our mattresses are bagged in air-tight water proof mattress bags and boxed. If for some reason your product has been damaged please contact Customer Service at 1-877-268-9675 and we will immediately process a replacement.

Do we charge a restocking fee?
No, we do not charge any type of restocking fee.

What if I refuse delivery of my order?
If you refuse delivery of non-damaged package the item will be returned to Palmetto Mattress and you will be responsible for round-trip shipping costs.
